About Ron...

Ron was born and raised in northwest Iowa. He graduated from Buena Vista College in 1977 with a major in political science and minors in economics and history with membership in Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. While in undergraduate studies, Ron worked for Attorney William Perry part-time and enjoyed his practical experience with client interviews and statements, writing briefs, and listening to cases and arguments at the Buena Vista District Courthouse and Sac County District Courthouse.

During the years of undergrad and law school, many trips were made to Colorado and the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

Ron worked for an insurance defense firm as a law clerk in Des Moines during the law school years, but was excited to graduate and get back to representing ordinary people and away from the insurance industry defense firm where the lawyers often bragged about how they had cut some guy’s claim in half.

Ron graduated from Drake University Law School, Des Moines, Iowa, in May, 1977, and was admitted to practice law in Colorado in the fall of 1977.

Ron has continued with his membership in the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, and the First Judicial District Bar Association. Membership over the years has included the Colorado Bar Association Auto Litigation Section and the Workers’ Compensation Section. Over the years, Ron has also been legal counsel for the Colorado Jaycees, and has served as legal counsel to several churches.

We have assisted our clients through hardships that come with injuries as the result of negligence of others. We are mindful that insurance companies are in the business of collecting premiums and discouraging claims, but we are in the business of assisting in our client’s recovery and assuring fair and just resolutions.
